Hey there - thanks for posting such great security information for your customers and readers. We liked it so much, we posted about it over on our blog, too.
We also added you to our blogroll of Kryptonite dealer blogs. :)
Happy Spring!

Thanks, I found this information very helpful! I've avoided biking bc I didn't know what locks to use and how to use them. You answered all my questions!

thank you from toronto!

I had my bike, which was only three months old, stolen yesterday. They unbolted the bottom of a pole, very classic bike theft method. I thought my bike would be safe because it was such a busy street, in the middle of the day, and I was just around the corner, but the man who took it was experienced and fast. I am, to say the least, brokenhearted, and just wanted to remind bikers that it only takes a minute for your bike to be taken. I have always found Chicago bikers to be an amazing community to be part of and it saddens me to think that there are so many bikers who are riding stolen bikes!

A&J Bike Locks

U-locks are you best bet. It is a shame that bikes are the one of the most common items stole in the US. Our shop specializes in bike locks ranging from your 10 dollar lock to the high end, top of the line lock that can't be broken by a welder's torch (some exaggeration there)...check out or shop at http://www.bike-locks.com

Lock Alarm

I've heard it said the happiest days in a bicycle owner's life are the day when
he buys his dream bicycle. Then the saddest day in a bicycle owner's life is when the dream bicycle gets stolen. I stumbled upon a website that has cheap options on lock alarms. What's nice is that ITS SIREN SCREAMS VERY,VERY LOUD! I saw them at http://www.etipinc.com. I hope this can help.

I can agree with "Lock Alarm"'s comment. I bought a Cervelo Soloist 3 years ago, and it was an amazing day. The bike actually became an integral part of my life. Today it was stolen and it is one of the saddest things i've ever experienced :'(. I double locked it, and I was actually in a decent neighborhood. I hope it finds its way back to me...

Compounded Annual Growth Rate

Sad to hear that the bike was stolen. Bikes are interesting but the lock system used in bikes are not too secure. Sirens I feel are better helpers than the lousy lock systems.

I actually really don't obtain every variance amongst Islam plus Islamic fundamentalists. It's my opinion religious beliefs is a basic, plus with the basic fundamentalism will grow for a harmful control. If perhaps most people clear away fundamentalism plus continue to keep religious beliefs, the other working day and also a further fundamentalism is going to raise just as before. I have to express this for the reason that quite a few liberals continually preserve Islam plus attribute fundamentalists to get building challenges. Nonetheless Islam on its own oppresses gals. Islam on its own would not allow for democracy but it violates individuals liberties.

I think that to receive the loan from banks you should present a firm reason. But, one time I have got a credit loan, just because I was willing to buy a bike.

I heard a lot of stories about stealing a bike. that is why we need to know how to lock our bikes safely.
