You are not a racer.
You are not a triathelete.
You are not a mountain biker.
You are not fixie.
You may not even consider yourself a "cyclist" in a sense that implies a hobby, a passion, and a substantial and conscious investment of time and money.
Yet, you ride a bike.
The bike you ride may not be a very special kind of bike.
After all, a bike is not a status symbol. It is a tool.
And like other tools, it needs to be handy and practical.
It needs to get you from point A to point B.
But you ride it most days, if not every day.
You are just a commuter.
