Hankandme is gone...

... but Hank and aLex continue to roll together through the streets of Chicago. Both are fine, and happy "out there, signaling turns, having ethical dilemmas over red lights, and trying to keep that Irish temper in check".

You won't find them on the internet anymore. But you can wave to them if you see them ride by.

sorry they're no longer on the internet, but glad that means they have more time to be on the road where they belong! aLex helped me a lot via hankandme when I was deciding on what bike to get this summer, so I'm glad she was there when I needed her, and I think of her when I merrily ride my Oma in Portland. happy trails to both!

Another here who misses reading about the adventures of Alex and Hank. Glad to know they are well and still riding.

Alex's blog helped inspire me toward a car-light life here in CA. My 11yo and I are going on our first tandem ride today after picking our bike up in OR this week. It's going to (mostly) replace our family sedan.
