The day after Thanksgiving: Black Friday, or Buy Nothing Day? Far be it from us to encourage you to spend money on unnecessary doodads, especially since we, ordinary Americans, are still waiting for out bailout checks.
However, it could be argued that bikes shouldn't be classified as either "unnecessary", or as "doodads", particularly if they figure prominently in your household transportation package.

Bikes are important to countries like China and Japan. That is one good thing because it can reduce pollution. It doesn't give off harmful smoke and it's a good exercise.

Biking is one good family get together. Everyone can enjoy this. They can get free exercise without being too tired and they can have entertainment at the same time.
